The first week in Queenswood

Dear Mum and Dad,
my first week here in Queenswood was amazing.
It was a very good idea to come here, because I knew a lot of people from all over the world, and I'm happy of this.
Here I feel very well, and I'm having a very good time during the academy lessons, even if today a lot of classes changed (the mine too!!) and I'm sad for this reason.
Everyday, we can choose an activity to do after the dinnertime: there are swimming, badmington, football and many others: these activities are always very interesting and fun, in which we can stay with our friends and know many others.
Yesterday, as you know, we went to Thorpe Park: it was my first time there and it was extremely fun and I enjoyed it a lot.
I hope it's all OK at home and I wait for your answer.

Yours
Alessandro

P.S.: on Thursday we went to London. I send you a photo about that trip.

London trip

Yesterday we had the first college's trip in London.First of all, we visited the centre of London. Starting from Westminster Abbey, we saw the most famous clock in London, the Big Ben, we saw Downing Street, in which Prime Minister's house is situated, and, passing through st. James Park, we arrived to Buckingham Palace, the building where the Queen stays when she is in London. There, we saw the change of the guards, a very traditional thing here in England. After we had lunch in front of Westminster Abbey, we went to the British Museum. It is a very big building, full of ancient re perts from all over the World. It was very interesting, in particular the Egyptian room, where we saw very well-conserved mummies and skeletons. It was amazing to see them, because it is very strange that so ancient re perts are so well-conserved even if they died so many years ago.
